Be catapulted into branch management
The programme puts you at the heart of our Ulster Bank and First Active retail banking network and launches you towards a branch management position. Retail Banking is all about sales and over the course of two years, you’ll rotate through a number of roles, gaining experience in all aspects of running a successful Retail business. You could be helping to launch a new product, training and developing other staff members or shadowing specialist colleagues within a branch. You’ll also spend part of your time at our Head Office, seeing the ‘big picture’ of our business.
Expect the best
You can expect a partnership approach to your development with personal coaching provided by senior managers. You can also expect support to achieve professional qualifications. And, if you’ve got what it takes, you can expect to be running your own branch by the end of the programme.
What it takes
We’re looking for people who have a passion for customer service combined with the ability to engage and lead others to deliver it. From an academic standpoint, a good degree in any discipline can open a door for you into the Retail Markets programme.
